Grow up Healthy and strong

Territory of project: municipalities of Vilnius city and district, Molėtai district.
Target group of the project: Pupils studying in primary and basic classes in Vilnius city and district, Molėtai district.
Project goals:
1. In the municipalities of Vilnius city and  Molėtai district, implement the "Grow up healthy and strong" initiative that promotes normal body weight, which includes a complex of protective factors for students educated according to primary and/or basic education programs and their parents.
2. Publicize the "Grow up healthy and strong" initiative that promotes normal body weight.

The Project Management and Training Center, together with the Vilnius department of the Lithuanian Samaritan Community, is implementing the project "GROW UP HEALTHY AND STRONG".
During the project, an interactive methodological recomendations for specialists "Grow up healthy and strong" will be prepared, on the basis of which training sessions "Grow up healthy and strong" will be held for primary and secondary school pupils in schools in Vilnius city ??and  Moletai region. It is planned that about 600 primary school pupils from educational institutions of the city and region of Vilnius and Moletai region will take part in the trainings.
In addition to 600 pupils who took direct part in the events, their family members will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the developed methodology and the knowledge gained in the trainings.
The number of such persons should be up to 1200. In the trainings, pupils will improve their knowledge and skills to control normal body weight and related physical, emotional and psychological health.
